I followed your checker. 1st Ladybird, 2nd RCIB. Both companies request dva check code. Not available in N. Ireland. Both cancelled policy and kept money. By the way, RCIB owns Ladybird. Would not recommend for N. Ireland drivers.

There is plenty of choice of car insurance for northern ireland now.
You can also request a check code via the ni direct website -
https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/services/view-or-share-your-driving-licence-information
I have done it in the past and it went smoothly. Codes valid for 21 days.1
