    Good Morning, happy Friday!

Life has been pretty busy and pulling me away from diary updates.

So everything is good, still exercising and eating well to a degree. This week has been a bit off the rails as we have some launches at work and am finding myself snacking a bit more than I should but from tomorrow back on track. We did get fish and chips last night, 1 portion to share between myself and OH and it was really good!

Money and finances wise - I have been feeling a bit spendy. Last months CC was high but it covered accomodation and expenses for two trips to the city. Its a constant balancing act of being frugal in the right places whilst still wanting to enjoy the time with the kids. We did have an unexpected treat and the three of us had lunch in Nandos before exploring one of the big parks. One of my own fav things to do this time of year is a walk in a park doing 'swishy swashy' with the fallen leaves! Card rolled on to a new month this week and i've bought myself a folding exercise bike. I do find this time of year I have in the past got a case of SAD and I am trying like I always do to find things to limit this. Exercise is amazing and I do have a favourite thing of reading a book whilst on the exercise bike. So thats my plan. Bike is due to be delivered Mon or Tues. Am heading back in to the city Weds evening so it'll be the weekend before get to build and use it sadly. Unless lady luck and its delivered over the weekend.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming Oct half term as I have the full week off work to enjoy with the kids. They'll be here and we'll be chucking ourselves into halloween things. I've been very lucky and grown at home 3 pumpkins from seed. Two are med/large and one is medium size! Really chuffed. Have grown pumpkins before and think the seeds were from previous home grown pumpkins!! I've heard a lot of growers haven't had much sucess this year with the weather conditions so its extra special.

Am very behind with surveys and life admin and I think for Oct I might just have to let it go and pull back into it in Nov.

Hobbies and spare time - I can't remember if I said or not but a few weeks ago I i'd bought a couple of Kate Mosse books from a charity shop. One of them had the first 50ish pages loose. I'd battled to read the first couple of chapters but had to stop at chapter 3 as a page was missing. Anyway instead of buying another copy of the book I ordered a copy from the library. It took a bit of time for the book to be available for collection but have it now and happily (slowly) reading this copy. Am a slow reader but this is becoming my lunchtime treat. Is anyone watching Celeb Traitors? I loved last series and quite behind but now playing catch up on the Iplayer. Will be getting upto speed this weekend :)

Hello from the hive on a dark sunday evening!

Its been an okayish weekend. The exercise bike arrived on Thurs or Friday and we built it on Saturday morning and then Saturday afternoon was a combination of cleaning and tidying up the garden for winter. OH was less than useful, had a little domestic and plenty of cold shoulders. Would love to rant but its really not the right type of forum for that.

Money wise its been pretty cheap weekend. I think yesterday was a NSD and today I did buy some sweets to eat on a walk and a small mainly veg shop at one of the budget supermarkets. Going to make a veg curry in the slow cooker for meals for the early part of the week.

Earlier we used two hours of rewards for powering down from the big fish. It was amazing to have the heating on for two hours. We have enough rewards for two more two hour sessions. The free energy sessions finish on the 1st Nov.

Weds head back into the city and in a bid to be a bit more organised, i've been doing some of my workload over the weekend just to give me a bit of breathing space for the back end of the week. Have a couple of hard deadlines to make so anything to get me ahead is a good thing. Also for the second time in a row, packed my suitcase early. Honestly it makes life just a bit simpler as these travel weeks go so fast. Little one goes on their school residential trip tomorrow but the little cheeky one wasn't in a talking mood so didn't get to wish them well. Not so happy but such as life being a LDP. It sucks.
