Perhaps two years is the maximum allowed without further investigations? I was wondering about FIT notes, as I have a bad knee.
They don't say that you are too ill for all work, just certain types of work that would affect your ailment.
What is your ailment? Are you fit for some types of work?

Above that box, you are not fit for work.
  • You would need to appeal the decision, it should say on your letter how to do that but ultimately if you can't show that you meet the criteria for enough points in the medical assessment then you need to do what the DWP ask.

Do you accept a fit note can say you're too ill to work?

You seem to be making incorrect assumptions rather than asking useful questions.

You have used a ? as I did. I am confused as to why you think I am making assumptions, in my first response I asked three questions.
