Hey there

I'm helping someone out with some bills and spotted a number of transactions on their bank statements each month from a company called Gemphoria in Redditch.  It seems unlikely that this person would be buying from them as they seem to be all online (which the individual isn't) but I didn't know if they had other ways to sell things.  Catalogue through the post might be likely but I couldn't spot anything online about this.  Other transactions are with Damart that I know does mail order and is what I would expect to see.

I won't be able to chat with this individual for a couple of weeks but just wanted to gather info in the meantime.  I'm concerned that she may have been scammed out of her debit card or similar as there's a number of transactions that just don't look right.   But I didn't want to go in all heavy handed.

They are a legitimate company. Parent buys from them - they sell on QVC type shopping channels. So she may well have seen the items on TV then been ordering by phone - that’s what parent used to do.

They sell jewellery – overpriced in my opinion – but parent has always been quite happy with the stuff she’s bought from them and she’s returned items for refunds with no issues as well.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
