Natwest mortgage

Hi took a mortgage out from L&C which is from natwest on a house which is close to completion. 5years fixed 5.79%. Now I'm hearing rates are going down. Have been trying to get hold of the broker for a week. My question is have they gone down? and is it worth me calling natwest themselves and seeing if there is a better deal which won't delay transactions as its completing soon.

As long as you have not completed or drawn down on the money, you can ask for a product change. Have a look at this link - https://www.intermediary.natwest.com/intermediary-solutions/products.html. Get on to your broker as new rates are available from tomorrow. I started off on 5.35% and now I'm going to get this switched to the new lower rates.Viperex said:Hi took a mortgage out from L&C which is from natwest on a house which is close to completion. 5years fixed 5.79%.
