Fixing In - Debt

We currently have a mortgage where the fixed rate is due up in October, we will want to fix in again but have some debt and I was just wondering if that will stop me fixing in with the same lender?

Tried to look online but everything that came up was about getting an initial mortgage with bad debt.

We have good credit scores and have no missed payments.

If the debt is not with the same lender and you are not making changes to the mortgage then depending upon which lender it is, there is usually no reason to do a new credit check or affordability calculations...

That would be a product switch.
As long as you are not wishing to change the amount borrowed or the term it should be possible to do this all online.

It shouldn't be a problem if you're not looking to borrow more from the same lender.
