And in the NEWBIES thread section about LBC stage (= your stage) it tells you what to do.

At no point do we say "phone the scammer up for a nice chat, they are bound to have a great customer service ethic and will listen to you sympathetically".

    Because they don't and won't!

In our long experience, these are sharks.  You don't hop in for a swim with them.

rang Excel, they said that they passed the account to DCBL who i paid and the account is now with debtassist.  I rang debt assist and they are aware that i've paid the ccjs and have said that i need to send them the n244 with a statement and they will raise a consent form.  I don't understand how a firm who has nothing to do with issuing the ccj is now being the decider as to whether it it's set aside.
  • I've lost count of how many times you were advised not to ring them!

    What exactly did you expect?

Oh sorry, asp746 of course you don't owe us any money and we apologise for any inconvenience

Send it then.  Never heard of this.

Is it just me being a grumpy old git or is this case pushing against the tide and showing some of the failings in our education system? Errors were made before coming to the forum and now the advice is being ignored. This has dragged on for well over a month now and it just feels like one step forward and two steps back.

The N244 has still not been sent!

after much toing and froing Debt Assist on behalf of Excel parking have said i'd have to go through court with an N244 but when I pushed back they now appear to be back tracking - does this read to you as though they are now saying they will consent to the cases being listed in order to be revoked?   Also, is it right that they have sight of the N244 form with all of my evidence on it ?  btw they have already been provided with a consent order.  If i pay the £108 and they consent is there anything else I have to do?  I will go to court if they mess me around and know i have been absolutely rinsed by them but i just want the matter to go away so i can get on with my life :(  They actually said in one of their emails they don't have to do any additional searches for people other than the dvla - this is the parking system that insists on having my phone & email before i can even buy a ticket and in a private carpark used by a select few companies that i've used daily for best part of 3 years!

"Thank you for your kind email.

We can only apologise that you are upset by the responses provided. As previously advised, we do not run the courts nor do we have the ability to get a consent order/hearing listed.

This is a strict process that requires a court fee being paid to the court and then awaiting further directions from the court, the person that needs to do this needs to be named on the account, not us.

If you were wanting us to assist you with the consent order process, you  would need to pay the court fees of £108.00 per consent order.

You would then need to provide us with a completed N244 document and draft consent order for review.

    Thanks in advance.

Who on earth are "debt assist"? Is it a team from Excel or their solicitors that you are dealing with? You do understand that using any facility provided by these scammers is not going to be in your favour, no matter how kindly they may sound.
