Holiday Entitement
Uncelebrated
I need some help! I have an employee who works 30 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks). I'm not sure what her holiday entitlement is?
Can anyone tell me how I work it out please?
Thankyou

How much holiday do full-timers receive? How many hours a week do they work?0

Normal year is 52.143 weeks.
So full-time person would work 52.143 weeks less 5.6 weeks holiday which is 46.543 weeks.
As the term-time only person works 38 weeks, their entitlement could be calculated as
28 days / 46.543 x 38 = 22.86 days.
I would expect this to be rounded to 23 days (and you shouldn't round down).
That's as far as you need go if the 30 hours are worked as 6 hours each day of a 5-day week.
(If the worked days are unequal or over 4 or fewer days, then you would convert to hours of holiday.)
