Long delay in reviewing refund

I shopped in Lidl end of January abd purchased some gift cards! The brand I choose was faulty and wouldn’t activate after payment! They tried 3 different cards until one worked. They supposedly refunded after each card but the money never went into my bank! I complained and sent copies of receipts and they are still looking into it! It’s going into week 3 now!!!! Where do I stand about making a bigger complaint that just my money back! I have had to borrow money this month to get by!
