Since getting my lovely Sky+ I have started looking at copying to DVD.
I read on AVforums about buying a DVD recorder and people were discussing a DVD recorder with HDD so you can copy from Sky+ to the DVD recorder HDD and then edit out the adverts etc and save space on the DVD disc.
Most of these Seem to be around £250 to £300
Found this when looking around at Empire Direct
Sharp DVHR300H Claiming a saving of £400  Very doubtful I think.
This seems to be at least £40 cheaper than anyone else according to Pricerunner With Amazon quoting £299!!
What does the panel think?
I cant seem to find much in the way of reviews at the moment

It's got a 4 Star (4 out of 5) review from Home Cinema Hardware Here and that's when they reviewed it last year, It was £700! (There's also 2 more 4 star reviews on This site.
One noticeable bad point that they pick up on is no RGB input. Not a major issues but if recording from a Sky or Freeview box etc the picture would not be a good as if it had RGB input.0
