in Cutting tax
Hi all
I'm looking to engage a tax accountant - my situation isn't too complicated, but I think I would benefit from some advice. Obviously, there's cowboys out there as well as people who are going to overcharge ... what's the best way to find someone good, reasonable and trustworthy? Is unbiased.co.uk a good place to start?
Thanks

It will only have a restricted number of people on it, and their checks seem to be focused on whether the adviser is authorised by the FCA. That's about investment advice rather than tax advice. The best way of finding a local accountant is probably the old fashioned way: talk to your contacts and see what their experience is.1
