Can't delete my question

It's not an HP thing, I've seen the same on a Lenovo recently when someone had installed Office on the PC and I assume it gave them some Onedrive options. It caught me out initially as the normal paths were empty and I've not seen this on an install before so I'm not sure what options they chose.t8769 said:Thanks for the tips.
I eventually found the Deskotp icon in the OneDrive folder, which is odd, as I never use it and always delete this app and folders, when I do a clean install.
Seems to be an HP thing, they put it in there automatically in OneDrive, which I always delete - not sure why.
So now have the Desktop icon back in SaveAs.

I'll have to be careful next time I do a clean install, make sure I stop OneDrive from installing.

You can't stop Onedrive installing. You can turn it off as soon as Windows has installed.

If you logon with a Microsoft account (e.g. one associated with fred@outlook.com) as opposed to a local only account (fred), then "By default, Windows stores your OneDrive folder in your account's %UserProfile% folder."
And your desktop (along with other folders but not Downloads) will be at
c:\users\fred\OneDrive\Desktop2
