Morning folks.
We had a lovely day yesterday despite my injury which held me back a lot. I'll write more after breakfast, I can smell the bacon from my room!
Happy Sunday to all. 🥀

Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing11

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Hope your poorly back gets better soon. It looks a bit on the dull side here but the forecast is for the sun to grace us with its presence soon.
I've just been addressing my wayward white roots which were in danger of taking over. It was a job I couldn't face whilst I was battling the lurgy. As I am overdue a haircut too I thought I had better sort myself out!
Another boring Sunday in store. Until tonight when it's the best tv viewing night of the week!
I left a small M & S gammon joint out defrosting for my lunch. It should last me a few days and the stock will be used to make lentil soup. I am rather fancying cauli cheese to accompany the gammon as I think they go so well together.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies and getting better. Take care all be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -
Morning all
Dry but overcast here have got a wash load in might risk it outside for a while.
Roast pork for dinner this evening it’s my turn to have mum but she is not coming as she has my nephew staying, he is meant to be going home today and I hope he does as mum is getting too frail to look after him and he tries to bleed her for every penny, she does like seeing him though it’s just that I worry for her !
Bit of housework to do today ready for my return to work tomorrow, I am a bit worried about how tired I will be but I am able to cut the hours down if needs be.
Have good days all and take care xx12 -
Morning all. It's spitting rain outside (so I've been reliably informed) so washing will be put upstairs again today. Can't wait for it to have a good blow on the line when the weather gets better. Sporty day on the TV with footie and rugby ;-) Chinese chicken curry for dinner.Hope your neck is feeling better @Gers and enjoy your day with your family.Hope everyone is doing OKHave a good Sunday all11

Morning All
Dry with a bit of a breeze this morning so there's washing out, will do the bedding tomorrow as there's no more room on the line.
Went to DS2s yesterday, lovely to see everyone and gave DGS his belated birthday presents. We had lunch and a good walk, so nice to be out for fresh air in between drives (hour and a half each way).
The bathrooms have been cleaned, the fire emptied and had a general tidy round.
Glad you're feeling well enough to do your hair TA.
Good luck at work tomorrow Ruby, hope your nephew doesn't outstay his welcome.
Sounds like you enjoyed the panto Carolbee I'm going out in the garden and sorting the greenhouse too - nearly seed sowing time!
Hope your neck improves Gers and you enjoy seeing your neice and nephew.
Have a peaceful Sunday, take care. XX

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers. Enjoy your day with the family x
We are out in the garden again today. There are 3 6' x 6' trellis panels to come down plus an archway. TBH they've been a bit wobbly for years but didn't get around to it last year due to the house decorating. We are also taking up a large area of decking that has gone rotten in places. Dread to think what's underneath! We plan to put chippings down and a nice bench or some seating as it's under a huge walnut tree so very little can grow there.
Have had a good breakfast of poached egg, bacon, mushrooms and toast. Will have a nice quick dinner later of pork Szechuan and noodles, and catch up on the rugby.
Have a good day all
