Granted inflation was always coming around but not at the rate that Liz decided to deliver it.
Liz Truss had little to do with the inflation rate.

Their actions led to financial distress which could have been mitigated by a slower-moving market as things gradually increased in price, instead they wiped billions off of the economy.
Actually, Gordon Brown had more to do with it than Liz Truss.  The events that were narrowly avoided were predicted to occur within 20 years of his actions.

But lets be clear, the primary issues in 2022 were mostly out of the hands of the British Government.

non-sense. yes, inflation is a given all over the world, but a government's reaction can reduce the duration of inflationary pressures, support society so that inflation has less of an impact and reduce the cost of money by reassuring the market.

saying liz didn't have an impact just because inflation would've happened anyway is disingenuous.

Nonsense.  Everyone knew that inflation would rise with the ending of QE.   People didn't expect it to unwind at the speed it did.
The rate of inflation was projected to rise into the 20% range (Goldman Sachs) or 13% (BoE) before Liz Truss was in power.
