Nationwide equity release

Nationwide have stopped offering equity release lifetime mortgages.  Any ideas on why they have pulled out ??

    I don't remember Nationwide ever offering them, TBH.

    they've done them direct only for a fair few years now.  Very good terms as well.  But i think only for existing Nationwide mortgage customers to transfer on to
