So had an email saying I had won the above prize (have personally thanked OP)
It says in t's and c's it's worth £269 (not upto) the winning email says the prize is £260 worth. The prizes I received were the items listed, but lon the advice slip they come to £210. So I sent a polite email saying thank items arrived today, but just wondering if something is missing as comes to less then stated prize amount. Just received a reply saying oh the company have reduced some of the items after we listed the prizes. So, and I also noted the prize company was meant to be prezzybox, but prizes have come from menkind, so I have looked up on both sites on the original price before reduction and even at full price it comes to £206 (prezzybox don't sell 2 of the items so no idea how they were in the box?) I have sent another polite email explaining this. Can anyone advise where I stand, it's not that I'm ungrateful as haven't won anything for so long, but if I brought something for say a price and my change was £66 short (full prize win vs website rrp prices) I don't think anyone would be happy and not say something.
Thanks all
RG
(Edit - had a reply that there looking into it between themselves and the retailer and will be in touch)

I hear you but I don’t think there’d be any recourse & you’d end up wasting too much of your time, from their initial response it sounds like they’re not going to back down0

Prize values quoted can often be more than it actually costs to buy an item - an rrp that is rarely/never actually paid, none sale prices used when no one buys at full price etc0

I can totally see why you feel shortchanged - you don't sound ungrateful at all. I hope they manage to give you a better response.
In case it helps at all, it looks as though Menkind/Prezzybox are owned by the same people: https://internetretailing.net/strategy-and-innovation/menkind-owner-buys-prezzybox-in-strategy-of-specialising-in-niche-gift-websites/
But I appreciate that doesn't explain why it's less than offered.1 -
