Payday is here.
I have moved £870 to my Monzo pots and this covers dog, car, smokes, presents and annual bills. I also transferred £450 to Santander for council tax, tv licence, Virgin Broadband, O2, Water, Gas and Electric
Spreadsheet started and still looks messy even on the first day so may attempt to redo once I've dropped the car off. Back to work tomorrow so will try and get what i can done today

And now I’m so grateful I had some left over cash for the car…..
Garage just called and they’ve noticed issues with my exhaust and shocks both of which are in the £100’s. Neither need to be done today but it will not pass it’s MOT in Sept when the time comes. I’ve decided to get the exhaust done today and will start saving for the shocks and get that done in a few months.
That on top of the service I suspect is going to cost a pretty penny 🤦♀️
Anyway I won’t know until tomorrow and the car will be staying there over night but this just reinforces the need to start at least preparing for unexpected expenses going forward.Save £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

Car back and I am £651 lighter but I am happy with that after them giving me worse case scenario yesterday! It does need to go back for the shocks but they will take 2 weeks+ to be delivered and I am going to wait until next payday at least for that.
Had some of my direct debits come out today but I’m not going to document them all as they were on the SOA so accounted for.
I did spend £10.60 in Tesco but in my defence they were discounted Easter eggs that will not go to waste 🤤 and some bread rolls for work lunch’sSave £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

Thankfully I’m in the “need to put on weight” bracket so the more I have the more it helps but I am cautious of the sugar intake and my teeth lol
I’m hoping today is a no spend day after yesterday, I’ve had one DD come out but again this was noted last month so don’t need to account for that.

Happy Friday!Bank holiday has really thrown me this week and I have to keep checking what day it is 😂
Only £9 spent so far today but this is for supplies over the weekend (milk, coffee etc) I’m hoping by getting it all today it will stop me from going out at the weekend and picking up more than I need.
Need to get petrol tomorrow and have to remember what card to spend it on, my uber yesterday came out of my main account so then had to transfer it back from the car pot.
it’s all about staying on top of what comes out of where and I think I’m possibly going to make a few more mistakes as the days go on.Save £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

Nothing to report here, woke up at 4am and have just been pottering around the house. I did get petrol but that’s come out of the car pot and I figured I’d put it through the car wash whilst I was there. Well that was a waste of £8…I still have bird 💩 all over the car lol.
i haven’t washed a car in years so am debating on if I should pop to Halfords and grab some supplies and do it myself or just take it to the local guys and get them to do if for £20.

That was probably one of the only weekends where I have never spent any money online! Very proud of myself.
I finally got my spreadsheet looking how I want it with the help of YouTube and ChatGPT, I must have spent approx 9 hours on it but it looks so much better and just automatically does its own thing now, all I have to do is stay on top of spending and add as and when.
I have a feeling this is going to be a very hard week at work but fingers crossed I am wrong.

That's good news about the online spend free weekend and well done with sorting out a spredsheet that works for you.I hope this week is better than you think.1

0 spends yesterday and this morning I have received my Santander Cashback from bills. I need to look at how I can maximise this more.
theres the £3 fee and I’ve had £5.87 cashback so a total of £2.87 back, I do have the edge saver and I know the interest from that is great but I’m sure I could move a couple more direct debits over that qualify. Will have to look at T&C’sSave £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28
