Moving To Self Managed DMP

Good evening, I’m currently with StepChange on a DMP.  I’m wanting to move to self managed and wondering if it’s as simple as contacting the creditors and saying i shall continue to pay the same amount each month?

    (1) Obtain your creditors payment information.
    (2) write and inform both your creditors, and stepchange, that you intend to go self managed.
    (3) Input the payment info into your online banking, and make the payments on a monthly basis.
    (4) Job done.
