Looking for a decent food thermometer

We've just bought an air fryer so have been looking on YouTube for recipes etc
Quite a few folk mention the need for a decent food thermometer, something we have never owned before, so think we need one.
Any recommendations would be helpful thank you

I've used plenty over the years, digital, wireless, ones with timers and alarms for different meats, ones you can put the probes in the oven, but I always reach for the pen type ones
I've used one like this for the past 5 years

Meater probe is all you will need in a probe. I love mine https://store-uk.meater.com/products/meater-plus?variant=39850956718174I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Honestly in addition to a probe you should get a thermometer to keep in an oven, because I got one as a fun thing to try, and discovered my oven doesn't actually heat up to the number on the dial. It can be a pretty common issue.1

IKEA do one that’s pretty cheap. I also found my oven is 10 degrees cooler than the dial.
