I tend to forget that I need to go on the app and haven't prepared in advance to shop at Sainsbury's.  Many years ago late DH and I had a mortgage with Sainsbury's Bank and they used to give us nectar points once a year.  That was a nice contribution to our Christmas shopping.

@sarahj1986 be aware that you can only spend Nectar points in multiples of £2.50.  So if you had, say, £14.90 in points then you could only spend £12.50 and would have to wait to get more points to spend the last bit.

This also means you are likely to need another payment method for the last bit of the transaction, unless you manage to get the total to an exact multiple of £2.50.

Thank you for the heads up on this
