Hello to all
i was wondering if there is any information on pensions for women born in the catchment years of 1954. I know there has been a lot of misleading reports so hopefully someone will have some information as to any government rulings . Thank you for taking the time to read this.

There's still a lot of chewing on to do, but a recent Court hearing judged that DWP had been remiss in not sending out advice letters in a timely manner over a 2 year period. This MAY result in some maladministration compensation, but I'd be surprised if this was more than a few pounds.
Disgracefully, WASPE are giving the impression that they have 'won' and some of their misguided followers are now expecting to receive 5 years of 'missing' pensions. Shame on WASPE.0 -
See https://www.ombudsman.org.uk/complaints-womens-state-pension-age?fbclid=IwAR0MpwPzTTpMtB2OuOYth5Z27zMyDpQFO0UZlQU3TiQ_F-xAPEoMh2cps5g
As Silvertabby points out, this is a very long way from any suggestion that the Ombudsman is going to happily award 5 or 6 years of extra pension payments.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -

The Stage 3 provisional findings were of course leaked by David Hencke who pretends to be on the side of all 50s' women where in actual fact he is a BT60 supporter who is totally against the PHSO investigation and Waspi.
Nothing finalised as yet but the provisional findings were that they should be awarded £1k for distress. I don't think it should be anything close to that at all but looks like it may.1
