This company called Resolvecall came to my house unnanounced and asked for me by my full name. I have no known debts (Double checked credit report) other than the ones I am currently paying. I do have a statue Barred debt from about 12-15 years ago (Story for another time). He asked for my date of birth. I refused to give this and so he handed me a card with some account number on and asked me to contact their office. I sent him away and then using the information I could find here I sent this Resolvecall an email with the prove it letter attached and only gave my full name and address as they clearly already had these. They responded to that email asking me for my date of birth. Should I give them this information?
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

DOB is for data protection purposes, to make certain they are speaking to the right debtor.
Resolvecall usually work for one or more of the large debt purchasing companies, such as Arrow Global, Cabot, Lowell etc etc.
If the debts owner want`s to get serious, they will write to you, however if you want to know what its all about now, then provide the details they are asking for, its personal choice really, they will already have it, if its you they are looking for, they just need you to confirm it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
