Providers that accept childcare vouchers

Hi,

I have saved up to £4000 childcare vouchers. i have a 6 year old who has after school activities every day such as gymnastics, swimming lessons, music lessons, dance, cheerleading. Not one provider accepts child care vouchers. is it easier for the clubs to set this up??

I have found some school accept them and some don't  - what can i do?  or is best to stop saving vouchers.

  • It sounds like you have a lot of saved up childcare vouchers, but are finding it difficult to use them for your child's after-school activities. This can be a frustrating situation to be in, as you want to make the most of the funds you have saved up.

One option could be to reach out to the providers of the after-school activities and ask if they accept childcare vouchers or if they would be willing to start accepting them. You can also check with other similar providers in the area to see if they accept them. If enough parents express interest, it may encourage the providers to start accepting the vouchers.

Another option could be to look for schools or after-school programs that do accept the vouchers, and see if you can enroll your child in those programs.

Ultimately, if you are unable to use the vouchers for your child's after-school activities, it may be best to consider alternative options for using them, such as for summer camps or daycare services.

I hope this information is helpful, and that you are able to find a solution that works for you.
