Arnold clark finance
I've applied for a car with Arnold clark and having never been rejected for anything in my life I thought it would be smooth as with any other car I've bought.
But I just received a credit rejected email from a finance company, there's not really any reason I can think of as my income etc are good and the car price isn't too high, also no defaults or missed payments ever with a good credit rating.
Someone told me they probably just do a quotation search on a few companies at once and that just that specific company has refused and they need to inform me (the email was also tagged as' low priority').
Has anyone ever had one of those rejection emails and been accepted elsewhere or does anyone have any knowledge of that situation?

I would ask for the reason you have been rejected, they may or may not tell you
It would also be worth checking your credit files across the 3 credit agencies to look for any obvious signs of incorrect information that may influence the underwriting decisions

Your credit 'rating', assuming you mean score, is a meaningless fictitious number that lenders don't even see. What is your credit history like? That's what lenders look at.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
