A quick pad down the hall and I'm back. The big white washing was done yesterday, even changed the bed linen. I'll be happy when I can take the second duvet off, when buttoned to the summer one they are difficult to get into the cover. Anyway, everything is on the airer or over the bannister. A short blast of the dehumidifier starts the drying off well. This morning I'm off down to Glasgow for a day trip as I've got a few things to get done down there. First on the list is breakfast with the lovely Camelot. 🍳
My thoughts are with our poorlies, TA - get better soon. Happy Saturday to all.11 -
Good morning, thanks for starting Gers. Enjoy your trip to Glasgow, say hello to Camelot from me!Seems to be ok weatherwise as far as I can tell, and yesterday was quite mild for early February, I wore a lighter weight coat when I walked down to Aldi. It was a relief, I get tired of being togged up like Nanook of the North.Izzy, I like Seahouses, we'll be there at some point in the caravan this year. Sometimes we go for the day in the summer, it's really nice.Carolbee, there is a lot of holiday accommodation in Seahouses, and Northumberland generally, if you look on the internet you'll find something I'm sure. Are you planning to visit any of the Hadrian's Wall sites? They are well worth a visit. We have friends in Australia and when they've visited they always want to go there.Chrisca, I think you're right about hibernation, I always say January is a month to be "got through".Muddy Walker, your dog bringing the dust out from under a cupboard gave ne a smile, so helpful, as you say!Sorry to hear you're not well TA, also Dp1, and Snoozer's Steve, also others who aren't well.Hope everyone has as good a day as they can, take care folks.12

Morning Everyone and thank you for starting us off Gers - have a lovely breakfast with Camelot
I had a lovely day out with 'the girls' yesterday, but I didn't buy anything.
I have no plans for today, but hopefully I will be able to hang my washing out.
Hope everyone has a 'super Saturday'. Iris xx

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers. Enjoy your meet up with @camelot1001
The film last night was surprisingly good. Obviously the chance to swoon over Gerard Butler helped(!) but the story took an unexpected twist. A fair bit of violence though! We are a 10 minute walk from our cinema and will very much miss that convenience when we move in a few years’ time. We have a limitless ticket for £14.99/month and can go as often as we want.
Hope you enjoyed your days out @iris and @carolbee and good luck to your DS with the move x
Hope the household had a better night @snoozer x
Great that you got out for a dog walk @RedRuby1231 – take it steady x
I'm off to FC then need to collect an order from RDyas. We plan to do some gardening this afternoon. Wishing everyone a good day.

Dull and overcast here but not as cold as it has been, I have a wash on the go which I might try hanging outside for a while.
I did another did walk with dd yesterday was a bit easier this time I’m getting a bit stronger every dayI plan to go back to work the week after next although I’m taking my private client out this Thursday.
Dinner tonight will be a turkey joint I got before Xmas with some cubed garlic roasties and green beans, I love turkey so looking forward to it.
Housework this morning and I suspect a nap this afternoon !
DD had some great news yesterday she applied for a job a couple of weeks ago and got an interview, they contacted her the day after and asked her to interview for a much more senior role which she did, they phoned her yesterday and offered her the role 😀 with a very big pay rise we are all thrilled for her !
Have good days all and take care xx12 -
Good morning, dry and fairly bright here.
Ruby great news about your increasing strength and DD's job.
Coxy living in the sticks I really miss RDyas and Wilco, great little shops here in small market town, but not much choice and very expensive, we do weigh up how much it would cost in fuel to do a round trip of 50ish miles to bigger town when we need something and try to go armed with a list accumulated over a few weeks.
Snoozer I hope that Steve is feeling better and that the small people let you all have a decent sleep last night.
Hugs and spoons to all struck down with lurgies and also to those battling with long term problems too.
Gers and Camelot enjoy your breakfast catch up.
Waiting for a delivery due by 11:15 and then need to go out to get papers, we will walk into and around town with DDog and perhaps get a coffee out, although it will be the third time this week if we do - 1st one was freebie from D)bbies so don't count. I end up spending on coffee or light lunches, sometimes it is the only way of getting OH to chat with me and drag him away from Sudoku, crosswords etc, when his concentration is high, not a multi tasker bless him.
Have a good day all.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)10 -

Hello! Treatment yesterday so very tired and wobbly today. Lots of rest today and tomorrow closely monitored by both dogs….they bring me their favourite toys bless them!
Hubby is out but we have a routine in case I need anything or anyone and to be honest after 11 treatments so far the routine rarely changes! Me - sleep, drink fluids and sleep. Him - wake me up now and then to drink fluids.Have a good day everyone xx⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering
