Thanks for the reply i think i understand, but just to be sure(Ish)
So it "Should" be ok to use my current account that i get my wages paid into and bill paid out of, in leau of a "Business" account? while starting out?
It would be a lot clearer to me if there were as specific claus in banks terms that stated something to the effect of " While your side/sole trader income is less than the £1000 allowance per year, there is no requirement for a Business account"
I just want to be doing this the "Correct way" with no risk to my main Current account

To be clear, I’m not speaking with any authority as an expert. Just saying what I did.

I kept my account separate from everything else for accounting, self-assessment etc.

Most Apps I’ve seen let you open an extra current account quite easily if you already have one.

Ok, Thanks for the advise, i'll go and download my banks phone app and see if it offers that feature.

I just wish it wasn't so vauge for an online only side hussle type of business.

    Cheers
