Hello All,

Is anyone else still waiting on their Change of Supplier letter from SSE Gas?

My switch date was 19/12/2022 for Pre-Payment Meter and still waiting?

I really didn't think it would take this long!

Hi,
I've been trying to switch since October! 
There's a 45 day period after you request the switch, then the letter should be on its way to you. 
You then will receive another letter with instructions how to switch, I'm on my second of these as the switch hasn't happened (Ivm also waiting a call back to ask for the next as they are time limited). 
From chatting to the paypoint shops and friends, there's miscommunication between sse and paypoint so the switch requests aren't being pushed to the shops.
Costing me more money as theres such a difference between firmus and sse and we don't have any other choice!
So frustrating.
Hopefully your letter will appear to initiate the process, but be aware it's not straightforward.

If/when you do get changed over just be careful that they update their records otherwise they'll send you an estimated bill for a credit meter (like they did for me!)
