Halifax Mortgage Application

Hello everyone,
I am a bit anxious as I applied for a mortgage with a shared ownership scheme through a mortgage broker, and I was told they were quick. However, I applied last month, we had the valuation over a week ago and received the valuation document the next day. When I look online I keep on seeing that people received their responses within 24/48hours and even on their website it said that you should receive it within a week. Does anyone have experience with delays on their response? Does this mean I got rejected?
