in Cutting tax
I've been called up for jury service. It says I can claim for the days I am there. Does this have to go through my books as income?

Looks like it's taxable0

Partly. The amount attributable to ‘loss of earnings’ is taxable and should be declared. Any amount paid by way off travel or subsistence is not.0

As previously mentioned you will have to declare the loss of earnings ‘compensation’ on your tax return. The maximum payable for your loss of earnings (if you are there for four hours or more) is £64.95 per day.0
