    You soon learn how to ensure you're only drawing from the battery for one big appliance at once.

    I know my washing machine hits the heat part of the quick wash program around 7 minutes after I press start and heats to 40C in around 7 minutes. The dishwasher hits heat after 25 minutes and again after 2 hrs 15 mins on eco.

    I can start both at the same time, turn the kettle on and have my cuppa made before the washer needs high power. I wouldn't use the oven at the same time as that's turning on and off too often to time.
