In an idle moment yesterday, I emailed a local company to ask about the cost of a second Powerwall2 (battery only: no Gateway). I was quoted £10500 plus VAT. Was he having a laugh? He offered delivery in March. I should add that I have no interest in getting a second Powerwall 2 at that price.

Especially when 5kWh pylontech units are £1500 … I built a 30kWh system with 8kW hybrid PV inverter for less than 1 powerwall.2

That is nothing, I was quoted 14k + VAT. Ended up getting a Givenergy 9.5kw battery and Eddi and additional 1.6kw system for just under 10kLiving in supposedly sunny Kent
