where do you live?  what do you spend monthly?  who else is in your household and what are their incomes??

What I could do where I live with an income of £700 a month is very different than someone with a mortgage, 3 children in private shcool and a SAHpartner living in London.

Do you not post something like this repeatedly? Is there a reason why you keep on asking the same question?

Fair enough. Just seems like you ask the same question every couple of weeks so seems a bit pointless. It’s completely subjective and depends on your own personal situation.

  • £2 per week for sweeties.
  • So what do you define as very comfortable? Is this for a single person or a large family?
Do you have expensive hobbies? I know someone who keeps horses, their 'necessary' expenditure is vast compared to my occasional spending on run kit.

However you ask the question the answer is always going to be - enough money to pay your essential monthly bills, plus a bit so you can save for an emergency and hopefully have the occasional treat.
So do the maths and work out what that means for you.

    It's a totally pointless question.

"Good" pay depends on a mutitiude of factors such as age, lifestyle, kids etc

But also remember for most people it is immaterial. Most people earn what they earn and have to make do with it best they can - it's not like there's an option to suddenly "upgrade" to your theoretical good pay.
