Many thanks for posting your finding!
I reserved the AS, and hopefully I will get the Whaferdale!0 -
I think it is a waste of money buying TV equipment without digital inbuilt, they are already redundant
Well our area only goes digital in 2011 so if we could afford something now with digital input I am sure it would be getting replaced in four years time anyway.
We haven't got a dvd recorder so £59.99 is ideal for someone on our budget.0 -
lol sb44 We aren't going digital till 2012!!!! I think we are the last so at that price def worthwhile0

damn!
Went to Argos in Harrow to collect, but they gave me the Acoustic Solutions one, not the Whaferdale.
Needless to say I got a refund!
I will try the Ealing one tomorrow.
Should we maybe make a list of which stores actually give out the Whaferdales?
1. Harrow DOES NOT!
PS: on second thought I saved myself 60quid...not bad!0 -
Do you need a freeview tuner on a dvd recorder inorder to record freeview?
Or can you arrange the freeview box to record freeview??
All Acoustic Solutions and equivalent gone in S Ruislip

Same here, although the Acoustic one does state it has FreeviewWent to collect the Acoustic £59.99 one today and was given the Wharfedale DVDRHD400F model which has inbuilt Freeview and is a Nicam stereo model (the other one said mono).
Have set it up and the picture quality is excellent, other half is really pleased with it for the money spent.
Thanks Sharpei for the original posting.

Nicam stereo applies to analogue TV does this have both analogue and digital tuners?0
