As the title suggests, is it generally easier to remortgage than get your first mortgage in the eyes of lenders?

You have a mortgage with your current lender ?
You can check out new deals for existing customers online and simply pick a new deal to suit your circumstances
Now my doing this you can normally just tick a few boxes and swap to the new deal maybe 90 days before the old deal runs out.
No credit checks or surveys or in many cases Fees to pay
Now your current lender may not have the best possible deals available but it's a good starting point0 -
Saying from personal experience and in my own opinion, it can equally be the same as you still need to prove your creditworthiness, and also depends on your financial circumstances.MattPearce said:As the title suggests, is it generally easier to remortgage than get your first mortgage in the eyes of lenders?0
