Has anyone had success in reclaiming SDLT for main property? My main house was uninhabitable when we purchased it. We lived at my moms for 4 months until it was ok to move in. Because my husband has a previous property we paid additional Tax.
Now i understand we could possibly claim this back from HMRC. Anyone done this and been successful?
