This is to remind everyone that eggs can be pickled.  You just need an airtight jar, eggs and vinegar.  Most people like to pickle with Malt.  I use Cider Vinegar as I suffer from osteoarthritis.  I find that brand Cider Vinegar works best.; your eggs will keep up to 3 months.  Hard cooked eggs will keep up to 7 days in the fridge.  Note on your fridge so don't forget to eat them.  Passed the date?  Wrap them up and chuck in bin, unless you want a horrid smell!!

I love pickled eggs but have to admit I haven't done any for a while.  With the current egg shortage, it might be a while longer before I get around to it!   :)

You can eat eggs passed their date as long as they pass the float test i recently boiled eggs a couple of weeks out of date after they got pushed to the back of the fridge and forgotten and they were ok

Yep most are fine to eat two weeks after the date printed on them. If they float then don’t crack them. If they don’t float then eat them, don’t just bin them!
