I contacted them about it on twitter and they said they are sorting it out and that it wouldn't effect my chance of winning. I don't see how not, as it is now unusable for me.

Not sure which browser you're using, but I would try clearing your history, cache and temporary internet files. Also, if at home, unplug router, leave a minute, then re-plug in.
Also, check your ad blocker isn't blocking pop-ups.
