Do Missed DD’s affect credit score?

Does missing a DD affect you credit score? I missed metric bill today - of o make a manual payment will that be ok or will it still impact a mortgage application?

    Guessing that was supposed to be electric bill? 

    Certainly my supplier doesn't report to the CRAs so late/missed payments wouldnt show.

    Some electric companies will record late payments. 
    But if the DD failed today and you pay it manually today, you are not paying it late. 

    The only potential issue would be that there is going to be a bounced payment on your bank statement I am guessing. Not the end of the world, but could be a minor issue with some lenders down the line.
