Sainsburys Nectar offer £2 off £20 T's & C's

Sainsburys send me Nectar offers every week, and recently a £2 off £20 coupon code has been included.
I looked at the T's & C's via the link they show, and in the small print it says "Minimum redemption value £2.50".
I just wondered - could this mean the £2 code isn't valid, or might I be entitled to insist on £2.50 off instead of £2?
Has anybody else noticed this, and investigated?

"Minimum redemption value £2.50" is in the section of the T&Cs referring to Nectar points. You can only redeem them against the cost of Sainsbury's shopping in multiples of £2.50.
The coupon itself will only be £2.1
