Solicitor ignoring mine

My solicitor has tried calling another solicitor today (final bit of paper to sign and we can move!!!)
she called six times and said each time it either sent to voice mail or rang out and this chap hasn’t returned his calls. It’s absolutely urgent as we need to move in a week and a half!
is there anything we can do? Three days we’ve been waiting for her to try and get hold of him nkw!

If your solicitor is trying a direct dial have they tried ringing the firm?

Speak to the agent.
Let them know there is an issue preventing completion and your solicitor can not get hold of the sellers solicitor.
They will worry about losing their commission and get on to the seller.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Isn't your solicitor giving you any advice about this? She does this for a living after all...Slou123 said:
