Nationwide DIP

Hello all,
Hoping someone can stop me stressing. I had a default on my credit report which fell off 2 months ago, I have no adverse markers of any kind now.

When making a DIP, I am going to use nationwide as their rates appear the best at present.
I’ve checked all my statutory credit reports and no negative markers are showing. The debt was with Barclays so I would be avoiding them; last payment to the debt collection was 2 years ago so that is not a problem in terms of banks statements.
Do nationwide check a live version of my credit report at the time of application? I don’t want to apply and they might be using old data which may still show the default record from November 2022.
Many thanks 😊

At time of DIP, I think they use one that is up to 90 days out of date.
At time of application I think they use the latest version.
Thats my understanding but I do not use Nationwide massively.
They can be alright with small amounts of historic debt. If they do pick it up, it may not decline.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I dont think Halifax ask if you have had a declined application.
