Quidco Premium membership queries

I'm new to Quidco and trying to get my head around premium. On the FAQ on their website it says:

We will retain up to £1 of your cashback earnings per month when you're actively using Quidco. If you have not made a transaction in a month you will continue to be a Premium member but your account will be free from monthly Premium retention fees.

So reading that, I assume that means for any month where you are a premium member and use Quidco they will keep £1 of your cashback.

What is unclear to me is:

What happens if the cashback I make is less than £1? Will they just keep all of it? Or would they also charge me the difference as well?

What do they class as a month? Calendar month? A month based on when you joined?

As cashback often isn't available until many months after the transaction, when they refer to "actively using Quidco" I assume that means if you were premium, you would pay the £1 for the month you bought the item rather than the month the cashback becomes available?

Comments

  • They will only take £1 when your payable balance exceeds  £1, it won't be visible to you until Quidco have taken their fee.

When I first started using quidco, it was a yearly £5 fee, when it changed to monthly it seemed I was paying more than I earned so I cancelled it. I don't shop huge amounts online, but its useful for insurance, my OH uses ebay a lot and that soon adds up
