Santander Extending Mortgage Term?

Does anyone know how likely it is that Santander would extend the term on a Buy To Let Mortgage?

It was originally a residential mortgage but we got Consent to Let 4 years ago when we moved away for work They converted the mortgage to a Buy To Let 2 years ago. Mortgage is £150k, current value of house is £550k.

We wouldn't be able to remortgage with another lender I don't think as we are both now retired with no 'earned' income.

The original plan was to sell but the older I get the more I think I don't want to relinquish my foot in the South East housing market in case we ever decide to move back.

Thank you!
