New DCA chasing unenforceable debt

Just coming back with an update - I’ve received a letter from Lowell stating they’ve removed the hold on my account and they are now asking me to contact them to arrange full payment .. at this point do I just ignore them and wait for a letter before action ?0

Yes - If they want to test whether or not it is enforceable they must start a court claim, and stage 1 is the pre-action letter with reply form and 30-day limit.
If they do start action we can help you with the form but for defending an actual claim you'd be better engaging with someone like Legal Beagles.
It may never happen

Thank you - I think I’ll just have to sit tight and see what happens0
