Santander Mortgage Process

Hello, here is my time line:
Thursday - DIP
Friday - mortgage app submitted, no docs requested and auto verified income completed. Santander confirmed receipt of my valuation
Monday - Valuation instruction for Friday 12th Jan (visit one) and 1 payslip requested
Can anyone tell me about their experience and whether my application will go through an under writer now or after the valuation?
On Santander website it shows the process as valuation is the last thing they do before offer.
