Hi I got a letter from Gladstone's saying that "we have recently obtained a county court judgement against you on behalf of the above named client in the sum of £185. If payment is made within one calendar month of the ccj being entered we will notify the court and the ccj should be removed from your record.
The letter is dated 6 December, date of judgement 23rd September.
When I go onto the Gladstone's website it tells me that £280 is due to pay. Is that right? Surely it's £185 and not £280.

If the date of the judgment is 23rd September you have missed the opportunity to have it wiped off your credit account/score. Have you actually received the judgment? Were you expecting one? Have you recently had a court hearing? Looks like Gladstones are adding a fee for collecting the money!2

Wait. You went to a hearing and lost?
But then failed to pay what the Judge ordered?
if you lose at a hearing you don't sit on your hands and wait to get a letter.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@gamer123 You need to give us as much information as possible to see if any of the regulars can spot a way to overturn or reverse this to get your chance to defend it in court (and win).1
