Nationwide porting mortgage

We are 2 years into a 5 year fixed
I have just been made redundant and looking to get a job within 2 months

We also want to move and list our property by the summer

What checks do nationwide do when porting a mortgage - do they need to see income details like when submitting main application?
Would they need at least 3 months wageslips of my new job once I get one?

Although our income will go down compared to when we originally applied, we have savings and my redundancy payout so will easily ne able to afford to do so

Porting is just the rate element.
Are you trying to borrow more than you currently have? If yes, then it will be subject to normal underwriting.  If not then they may have some discretion if like for like.
