April 6 for the first £300 quid. Given that there was a six week lag between the end of the qualifying period and when they started making payments last time around, I think that the qualifying period for the first one this year will be somewhere between January and February.

Where does it say April 6th?  It says in the spring after April 6th, not sure when spring ends.

Exact payment windows will be announced closer to the time, but are spread across a longer period to ensure a consistent support offering throughout the year. They will be broadly as follows:
    • £301 – First Cost of Living Payment – during Spring 2023
    • £150 – Disability Payment – during Summer 2023
    • £300 – Second Cost of Living Payment – during Autumn 2023
    • £300 – Pensioner Payment – during Winter 2023/4
    • £299 – Third Cost of Living Payment – during Spring 2024
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

So really you’re getting less than last year which was £650 and this year £600 when the situation is actually worse re prices. Amazing how they spun it  to sound like £900 this year.
