So it's another week.
Making the most of a relatively free weekend.
Dropped Mr Boo Boo off to catch the bus for 8. Early kick off for football. He's having breakfast with friends before.
Time to plan now for the coming week. Saturdays can be a slow starter so am determined to crack on early and have a break at the end of the day. Going for a walk later on with a friend. She has a cute Cocker spaniel and is dog sitting too so will have a cute terrier with us. Will probably walk to a National Trust property and have something to eat there. Weather not great but I have waterproofs.
Just completed a few postcard comps on here. Always dream about winning a holiday or money. Need to keep up to date regularly.
Regular planning is the key and consistency. Menu planning is very money saving and time efficient. God daughter and her husband were due to visit tomorrow, but had to cancel. Food won't be wasted. Need to sort out fridge.
Have realised that I worry a lot about money. Need to relax a bit and let go. Have always been cautious and am able to employ delayed gratification, but I sometimes go too far. For example, fitness gear. Really need new leggings and trainers but have held off for ages. I use them at least 3 times a week. Nothing fancy, am not a labels person, but leggings are starting to lose elasticity. Had trainers for absolutely years. Did try to buy 2 pairs of reduced trainers from the Reebok site, but had an email about a refund! Must've been out of stock. Think they needed an email before this to tell me they were out of stock first. I need to give myself permission to spend.
On a positive note am still using the discount scheme to buy as much as I can. Feels good. It's the small things. Cat food is on offer in B&M and Tesco. Using the B&M discount as I get more off. Got Waterstones gift cards to buy a couple of Birthday pressies.
If I am on a money mission I need to keep the awareness and momentum going. Have booked a meeting with Mr Boo Boo tomorrow to go through finances, plans for the future and plans for home improvements and maintenance on ours and rental properties.
Have a good weekend fellow MSErs

Good to read your post.
I agree about menu planning. I'm not doing it here but intend to start again when I move.
I hope you buy some new trainers! You work hard and deserve them. Plus they keep you active so are essential.
