Early redemption Fee Santander

Good day,  I have a mortgage with Santander which will be paid off, one way or another in 2025. I am somewhat confused by the dates regarding having to pay an early redemption fee.  My Mortgage is due to 'finish' in November 2025 however the mortgage deal finishes in May 2025 effectively leaving me with 6 months to pay at the standard variable rate (currently 6.25%). the deal rate is 2.69%.  Does the early redemption fee apply until the deal ends (May 2025) or does it continue on until the mortgage term ends in November 2025. We are only talking about a few hundred pounds here either way but a saving is a saving! As most Santander customers will have experience, unless you make an appointment and travel to a branch (We are  rural and our branch is some distance away) then without waiting about an hour on the phone it is impossible to speak to anyone.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The ERC period will be confirmed on your mortgage offer. But usually the ERC period ends at the same time the tie in period ends. In essence once on the SVR its unlikely there will be any ERCs.

I cant say 100% as I cant see your offer, but I would be VERY surprised if there were any ERCs once your deal finishes.
